We’re excited to introduce Stay & Play — a thoughtfully designed concept where little ones can explore while parents unwind, connect, or catch up on things.

If you're looking for a parent hub where kids can play, build social skills, and gently prepare for future childcare — all while you relax, connect, or get work done — Play Date is just what you need. A bright, fun-filled environment designed for both little ones and their grown-ups!

Located in the heart of Bondi, it's the perfect place to connect, recharge, and build your dreams — while your little one explores in a safe, creative environment that gently supports their transition into formal childcare.

What is “Stay and Play”?

Stay and Play is more than just a play session — it’s a flexible and welcoming concept we created after listening to what parents of children aged 2 months to 5 years really need.

Some days, it feels like we’re all running on empty. Nearly 3 in 4 Australian mums say they feel stressed trying to juggle work, kids, and home. Many have less than 30 minutes of personal time a day — and 1 in 10 barely get that even with their own children.

As a mum myself, I know what it’s like to love your kids fiercely but still crave a moment to breathe… a coffee in peace… or a chat with another adult who really understands. I also know how hard it is to keep moving forward with your own dreams — whether that’s running a business, freelancing, working from home, or navigating a hybrid role — while also wanting to be fully present with your little ones.

That’s why we designed Stay and Play at Play Date Bondi — a space created with both children and their grown-ups in mind. Children enjoy engaging activities under the guidance of experienced professionals, while parents and caregivers stay onsite to unwind, connect with others, or catch up on work in our dedicated parent hub with Wi-Fi and coffee.

Unlike traditional drop-off childcare, Stay and Play allows families to remain close, blending the benefits of supervision, social interaction, and free play. Our relaxed environment also gently supports childcare readiness, helping little ones build confidence, social skills, and independence at their own pace — all with the reassurance that their grown-up is nearby.

At Play Date, we believe being a parent shouldn’t mean putting growth — yours or your child’s — on hold. We’re proud to offer a creative, nurturing, and community-driven space where children can take their first steps toward a bigger world, and parents can keep building theirs too.
