If you're looking for a flexible environment where kids can play, build social skills, and gently prepare for future childcare — all while you relax, connect, or get things done — Play Date is just what you need. A bright, fun-filled environment designed for both little ones and their grown-ups!

Located in the heart of Bondi, it’s the perfect spot to meet other parents, join in the play, and support your child's smooth transition into more formal childcare.

What is “Stay and Play”?

Stay and Play is a flexible and welcoming concept offered at Play Date — a thoughtfully designed space where parents and caregivers can bring their children to explore, play, and engage in a safe, supportive environment. Whether you choose to relax nearby or actively join in the fun, Stay and Play is all about flexibility and connection.

At Play Date Bondi, Stay and Play is created with both little ones and their grown-ups in mind. Children enjoy engaging activities under the guidance of experienced childcare professionals, while parents and caregivers stay onsite to unwind, connect with others, or catch up on work.

Unlike traditional drop-off childcare, Stay and Play allows families to remain close, blending the benefits of supervision, social interaction, and free play. Our relaxed environment also gently supports childcare readiness, helping little ones build confidence, social skills, and independence at their own pace — all with the reassurance that their grown-up is close by.

At Play Date, we’re proud to offer a safe, joyful, and community-driven space where children can take their first steps toward a bigger world — and parents can stay connected to the journey.

What’s Included – $40 per Child

  • Flexible stay-and-play sessions – Come anytime between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM and stay as long as you like. Start Date From 1st Of April 2025

  • Supervised care – Our experienced child care professionals ensure your child is happy, safe, and engaged.

  • A comfortable space for mums – Relax, chat with other mothers, or catch up on work while your little one plays. A dedicated work table is available on-site.

  • Complimentary refreshments – Enjoy free coffee, tea, and biscuits, plus access to a fridge for any snacks you bring.

  • A variety of activities – Including arts and crafts, a children’s library, a kids’ kitchen, and a fun play area with toys.
