We’re excited to introduce Stay & Play — a thoughtfully designed coworking + childcare concept for modern parents.

Here, little ones are safely supervised as they explore, create and build confidence — while you stay onsite to work, take meetings, respond to emails, or enjoy a focused few hours.

If you’re navigating the juggle of career and caregiving, Play Date offers a supportive middle ground — not full-day childcare, not a chaotic play centre — but a calm, community-led space where productivity and parenting can coexist.

Located in the heart of Bondi, Stay & Play is designed for working mums and dads who need dedicated, uninterrupted time without feeling disconnected from their child. A beautiful, light-filled environment where little ones gently build independence — and parents can build momentum.

What is Stay & Play?

Stay & Play is our signature coworking + supervised play concept — thoughtfully created for families with children aged 2 months to 5 years.

It was designed in response to a very real tension modern parents feel every day: the desire to be present with their children, while still moving forward with their own work, goals, and identity.

Nearly three in four Australian mums report feeling stressed while juggling career, caregiving, and home life. Many have less than 30 minutes of personal time each day. For working parents — freelancers, founders, remote professionals, or those navigating hybrid roles — the challenge isn’t just finding childcare. It’s finding flexible, meaningful support that doesn’t require disconnecting completely.

As a mum, I understand that feeling deeply — loving your child fiercely while also wanting space to think clearly, finish a task properly, take a meeting without interruption, or simply sit with a coffee while someone else leads the play.

Play Date was created to offer that middle ground.

During each session, children are thoughtfully supervised by experienced educators in a calm, engaging environment designed to nurture creativity, confidence, and gentle independence. Meanwhile, parents remain onsite in our dedicated work-friendly hub — with Wi-Fi, coffee, and comfortable seating — free to focus, connect, or reset.

This is not traditional drop-off childcare, and it’s not a busy play centre.

It’s a supportive, community-led space where productivity and parenting can coexist.

For children, it provides social interaction, guided activities, and a soft introduction to childcare readiness — building emotional security and independence at their own pace, with the reassurance that their grown-up is nearby.

For parents, it offers something equally important: momentum.
